The risk of Cybersecurity is soaring up day by day, driven by global connectivity and usage of cloud services, like Amazon Web Services, to store sensitive data and personal information. Extensive low-quality configuration of cloud services partnered with increasingly sophisticated cybercriminals always means the risk that your organization puts up with from a successful cyber-attack or data breach is always on the cards. 

It was a time when simple firewalls and antivirus software were used as your only security measures. Business leaders can no longer take risk of leaving information security to cybersecurity professionals. 

Cyber threats can approach from any level of your organization. You must get your staff educated about simple social engineering scams like phishing and more sophisticated cybersecurity attacks like ransomware attacks (think WannaCry) or other malware designed to steal intellectual property or personal data.

Why is cybercrime increasing?

Other factors causing an increase in the growth in cybercrime include:
